Never leave a “thank you” unanswered.
Generative AI made it easy for anyone to draft a reply to a review in seconds. Replies still pile up, because the hard part comes after the drafting. Unanswered reviews accumulate, and moving between screens one review at a time makes you slower. Writing each reply from scratch makes the wording and tone drift, even for the same store. When the person in charge changes, it drifts further.
coremeo is a Chrome extension that drafts replies to Google Business Profile (GBP) reviews using AI. It adds a button to the review management screen you already use, and the draft appears right there.
Semi-automatic by design — AI only writes the draft. You always review the text yourself before pressing the button that publishes it. coremeo never posts anything on its own.
It fits your store's voice — Both the drafts AI produces and the replies you confirm are used as examples, so the wording grows closer to your store the more you use it. On the Free plan you can still import the replies you posted yourself (chapter 10, free of charge), and the replies you post from now on are taken into account (if you edit a draft before posting, the edited text is what informs later drafts). Examples keep accumulating as you work on the Pro plan and above (when you confirm a reply in bulk mode), and choosing which examples to use is a MAX plan feature.
Multilingual (all plans) — Reviews written in another language get a reply in that language. A translation in your own display language is shown alongside it, so you can check the content before posting. Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Spanish and French are supported, with no difference between plans.
Requirements: Google Chrome (latest version), and owner or manager access to the Google Business Profile.
Search for “coremeo” in the Chrome Web Store, or open the store page from the link on our website, then click “Add to Chrome”.

When the confirmation dialog appears, click “Add extension”. coremeo accesses the Google Business Profile review management screen, the coremeo server, and the Google authentication service used for sign-in (identitytoolkit.googleapis.com). It also writes to the clipboard, as a fallback for when the draft cannot be placed into the reply field automatically.

After adding it, open the puzzle-piece icon (the extensions menu) and click the pin next to coremeo so you can reach it from the toolbar at any time.

Click the coremeo icon in the toolbar and press “Sign in with Google”. Use the account that manages your store's Google Business Profile.

The first time, a screen asking you to accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy is shown. Open each link to read them, tick the box, then press the button to start on the Free plan. The same screen may appear again when the terms are updated.

Once signed in, the popup shows your current plan, this month's usage and the number of unanswered reviews. Settings such as the reply tone and the generation mode can also be changed here (see chapter 7).
At the bottom you will find “Help” (this manual) and sign-out. On the MAX plan, “Manage examples” and “Store rules” also appear and open in a new browser tab (chapter 14).

Press “Open review management” in the popup to open the Google Business Profile manager (business.google.com). When the list of locations appears, go to the review screen for the store you want.

When you open the review list, each review shows an “AI reply” button and how many generations you have left. Click the button on the review you want to answer.

AI reads the review text and the star rating, then writes a draft reply. While it is working you will see the following.

The finished draft is placed into Google's reply field for you. Check it, adjust it if needed, and post it with Google's own “Reply” button. coremeo never posts on your behalf.

If the draft is not what you wanted, press “Create another (uses one reply)” to produce a new one on the spot. There is no need to close the reply field.
The language menu next to the AI reply button sets the language of the reply. Leaving it on “Auto (review language)” is usually right — a review written in another language gets a reply in that language, together with a translation in your own display language.

“Reply tone” in the popup sets the register of the draft. This is a Pro plan feature; on the Free plan the tone is fixed to Polite (standard).
Polite (standard) — Calm and formal. The default, and comfortable for any industry.
Friendly — Warmer and more casual wording.
Apology-focused — For low ratings and complaints, wording built around an apology.

The slider in the popup sets how bulk replying behaves. The default is Speed. Quality carries what you just posted into the next draft as it goes; Speed moves on without waiting for that. Balanced sits in between: it prepares a draft ahead of time, then reworks it to match what you actually posted.
When several reviews are unanswered, a “Bulk AI reply” button appears at the bottom right of the screen. Click it to work through the reviews one at a time, checking each before moving on.

You can also drive it from the keyboard: Enter = confirm this draft, S = skip this review, Esc = end bulk replying.
In bulk mode too, replies are drafted in the language of the review (chapter 6).

Depending on how the page is built, the “AI reply” button may not appear on a review card. When that happens, you can draw a box around the review with your mouse and generate a reply directly.
On the review management screen, press Alt + Shift + R together to enter selection mode (press again to leave it). If you have selected an area before, a frame is shown as a guide.

Drag with the mouse to draw a rectangle around the review you want to answer.

A confirmation screen opens once you finish. Check the text that was read and the reply language, then press the button to generate. If no reply field could be found, that is shown here as well.

If a reply field was found, the draft is placed into it. If not, the draft is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into the reply field (Ctrl+V).

Replies created in selection mode do not inform later drafts, because coremeo cannot confirm that they were posted (when the text goes to the clipboard, coremeo cannot see whether it was posted after pasting).
If you want your store's wording reflected more strongly, use the “AI reply” button (chapter 5) or bulk AI replies (chapter 8). Note that replies are registered as examples when you confirm them in bulk mode (Pro plan and above).
When you start using coremeo, any replies you wrote and posted yourself can be imported as examples. Once imported, even your very first draft comes out close to your store's own wording.

Pressing “Import” opens a confirmation screen showing how many replies will be imported and a preview of the first two. (The preview is only there so you can see what they look like; the number actually imported is the one on the button.) Importing is free and does not consume AI reply credits, up to 20 replies.

Only the replies you actually post inform later drafts. If you edit a draft before posting, the edited text is what is used. Drafts you did not post, and earlier drafts replaced with "Create another", are not used. In bulk mode, a reply is registered as an example the moment you press "Confirm".
Replies you adjust, confirm and post are registered as examples and carry more weight in later drafts. If a reply contains personal details such as contact information, or content that goes against Google's review policies (sweeping claims, requests to post in exchange for a discount, and the like), it is given less weight — or, depending on the degree, is not registered as an example.
If you replace the AI's draft almost entirely and write the reply from scratch, it is not registered as an example. There is no link to the AI's draft, so it cannot inform later drafts. This does not affect posting the reply itself.
If you do not want a reply used as an example, tick “Do not register as an example” when confirming it. Reviews and drafts marked this way are not added to the example list, and are not used when preparing any later draft — including the rest of the same bulk session. The record that a reply was generated (such as how much it was edited) is still kept.
The reviewer's display name is never sent to the server, and is neither stored nor referenced.
Email addresses, phone numbers and URLs contained in the review text are masked before being sent to the AI and before being stored. Reply text stored as an example is masked in the same way.
When you use coremeo as a team, saved content is treated as reference data within the team. How widely it is shared can be changed in the settings (chapter 14). There is no screen where other members browse a list of drafts. This data is used to prepare replies, and is not used to train external AI models.
For reviews that may be complaints, or that mention treatments and their effects, the wording of the AI-generated draft may need care. In those cases a caution appears under the review.
This draft may contain wording that needs care (absolute claims, statements that could raise legal issues, and similar). Please check it before you post.
The draft is still created and inserted as usual, so check it, adjust it if needed, and post it.

The coremeo icon in the toolbar shows things such as the number of unanswered reviews.

“You have reached this month's limit” — You have used up your plan's monthly allowance. It resets next month. If you need more right away, consider changing your plan (chapter 13).
“Your session has expired” — Please sign in again from the popup.
“The reply form could not be found. Copied to the clipboard” — On rare occasions the draft cannot be inserted automatically because of how the page is built. Paste it into the reply field (Ctrl+V).
“Please check the value you entered” — Shown when the region or country setting in the popup could not be saved. Check what you entered.
“Could not save the setting” — Shown when a setting could not be saved, for example because of the connection. Please try again later.
“Contains words you asked us to avoid” — Shown when a draft contains a word you registered under “Store rules” on the MAX plan (chapter 14).
“View plans” in the popup lets you check and change your plan.
Free: ¥0 — Try up to 10 AI replies in total. (There is no monthly reset. Replies used on a paid plan also count toward this total.)
Pro: ¥980/month (excl. tax) — Up to 50 replies a month, with every feature including tone selection and bulk replying.
MAX: ¥2,980/month (excl. tax) — Up to 500 replies a month, plus team features, example management, store rules and early access to new features. For teams, the 500 replies are shared across the whole team (adding members does not increase the allowance; the monthly fee is per member).

Choosing an upgrade opens the payment screen (Stripe). Card details are handled securely by Stripe, and coremeo never holds your card number.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the link at the bottom of the plan screen.

On the MAX plan you can invite staff and use coremeo as a team. Sign in to the coremeo portal (the client management screen) in your browser.

“Team management” lets you invite staff by email address. You can also see a log of who used the service and when.

Enabling “Reply approval” lets the owner review a staff member's reply before it goes ahead. This is off by default. Until a reply is approved, the extension does not draft a reply for that review at all — neither for single replies nor in bulk mode. Note that typing directly into Google's own screen is beyond what the extension can prevent, so use this alongside your internal rules.

“Manage examples” in the popup lets you review the examples the AI refers to, switch each one on or off, and adjust how much weight it carries. “Store rules” lets you register words to avoid in replies, and points you always want mentioned. Both are MAX plan features and open the portal in a new browser tab.
If you run several locations, the owner can choose how examples are shared for each staff member: across all locations, only within the same group of locations, or kept separate per location.
Q. Could the AI post a reply without asking me?
A. No. coremeo only writes the draft and places it into the reply field. Posting always requires an action from you.
Q. Does it work on reviews with a star rating but no comment?
A. Yes. It writes a thank-you or an apology appropriate to the rating.
Q. The button does not appear on the review management screen.
A. Try these in order: (1) reopen the screen from “Open review management” in the popup (see the note in chapter 4), (2) reload the page, (3) check that you are signed in. If it still does not appear, please use the contact details in chapter 16.
Q. I am concerned about personal data.
A. The reviewer's display name is never sent to the server, and is neither stored nor referenced. Email addresses, phone numbers and URLs in the review text are masked before being sent to the AI and before being stored. Please see the Privacy Policy for details.
Q. What happens to my data if I cancel?
A. You can still sign in with the same account after cancelling, and your records and examples are kept. Note that the Free allowance is cumulative, so if you have already used all 10 replies you will not be able to generate more. (Replies used on a paid plan count toward that total.) If you start using the service again, your earlier examples continue to inform your drafts.
Q. What happens to everything built up so far when I move from Free to a paid plan?
A. Everything carries over. The past replies you imported while on Free, and the replies you posted, all remain and continue to inform your drafts. You do not start again from scratch. On the Pro plan and above, examples also keep accumulating each time you confirm a reply in bulk mode, so the wording builds on what you already have.
Q. If I use up my allowance and then subscribe, can I still use it that month?
A. Yes. Moving to a higher plan resets that month's usage count to zero. For example, if you use all 10 replies on Free and then move to Pro, all 50 replies are available to you that same month. From the following month it resets monthly as usual. (Moving back down to the free plan does not reset the count.)
Q. I would like the saved reference data deleted.
A. Please use the contact details in chapter 16. Individual deletion takes some time to process. Note that for teams the reference data is shared, so deletion covers the whole team — a single member's data cannot be removed on its own. We carry this out after confirming with the account owner.
